Building Blocks for Spiritual Development
Discovering Calvary, Membership Class
We focus on what it means to be a Christian, the symbols of Salvation, our purpose statement, our faith statement, who we are trying to reach, our strategy, how our church is structured, our affiliation and what it means to be a member. This class is required for church membership and is a prerequisite for the Maturity and Ministry classes.
Maturity Class
We will focus on the Four Basic Habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. This four week class will equip you with the skills you need to begin and continue these habits. Being a church member or having taken the Membership Class is a prerequisite.
Ministry Class
At Calvary we focus on an individual approach to ministry rather than an institutional approach. We focus on five personal factors that have combined to shape the "real" you. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed for you will become crystal clear. The Maturity Class is a prerequisite.
Upcoming Classes:
Membership Class – The next Discovering Calvary/Membership Class is Sunday,
August 22, 2:00 - 4:30 PM in Rm. 206. Sorry, no childcare provided but
children 5 and older who can be quietly occupied for 2 1/2 Hrs. are welcome.
Maturity Class –This four
week class is offered periodically on Wednesday nights at 6:30. Check back
for next class which start in August or September.
Ministry Class – This two week class is offered periodically on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in Rm. 106. Check back for next session.
