The Pantry
At Calvary we take Jesus’ command to love others and to care for those in need very seriously. One of the ways we do that is through The Pantry. Many times people find themselves in difficult situations where it is simply hard to make ends meet, and The Pantry is available for them to get the supplies they need to nourish their families. Although The Pantry has been a successful ministry, we are hoping to broaden its impact by offering more food, and additional supplies, to more families. We can do this only with your help.
Take the step and get involved with this vital outreach!
Provide items in need.
Bring items Mon – Fri to the office or on Sundays to the drop off bins located outside each worship center door.
Canned Chicken or Tuna (Greatly Needed)
Canned Chili or other meaty products (Greatly Needed)
Canned Fruit and Vegetables
Snack Packs of Fruit or Jell-O
Peanut Butter
Jelly, Jam or Honey
Cereal
Granola or breakfast type bars
Pasta
Macaroni and Cheese
Spaghetti Sauce
Hearty Soups
Crackers / Graham Crackers
Lend a hand!
* Organizing and bagging food
* Data entry
* Social Service Research (Discovering ways to better serve people)
* Serving those who need help: We want to pray and talk with each person who comes in for help.
Volunteer for 1-2 hours shifts: Mon & Wednesday 12 – 4:30 or Friday 9:30 – 1:30
