Calvary’s 20 +/- is a community made up of people in their 20’s– and
those who share the mind set of this dynamic generation.

Our community is for believers and doubters alike. We exist for those with
questions and struggles. We are passionate about exploring and experiencing
what it truly means to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. We believe the best
way to do this is to study His life, becoming His disciples. Or you might say,
apprentices. Individuals bound to a Master Craftsman, learning
His occupation: loving one another.

As we study Christ's life, we are committed to being a “missional” group of
people who are others-focused. We share the goal of expressing and sharing
His love by the giving of ourselves through service to our neighbors, both local
and global, having a genuine desire to develop meaningful relationships with
people from all walks and stages of life. After all, that is exactly what Jesus was about.

Jesus said, “Wherever two or more are gathered in My name, I am there with them”.

Though we meet as a large gathering each week, we hope to be distinguished
by the many small groups of friends and strangers that get together
throughout the week in coffee shops, restaurants, parks, homes... just about
anywhere else life happens. Keep checking the communities page to watch
as new groups develop or to start one of your own!

Serving in Guatemala
July 6-13, 2008
We will be serving children who have no fathers, and sometimes no mothers,
who live in extreme poverty. Many of these children live in houses made
from cornstalks and recovered sheet metal with little more than mud floors.
In this particular village, over that last several generations, very few have
been educated. Our goal is to work along side Vision Trust (A ministry dedicated
to caring for orphans around the world) to provide these children with
an education, tutoring, food, medical and dental help, and most of all to
introduce them to Jesus Christ.
