The Goals of Through the Roof Ministry for Special Needs Children are:
To Love and accept children as they are. To have people who are motivated and excited to be with and learn from these special children. To believe that special needs children can love God and serve their world. To share God's heart and help to bring hope, healing, and acceptance to families who may feel "left out" at church.

Children's Ministry Buddy
"Everybody needs some buddy" is a ministry for families with special needs. Our goal is to be "inclusive," which means we assign children with special needs a "buddy," who assists them while they are at church to mainstream the child into their age appropriate classroom. Our vision is to reach ALL children with the truth about God's love for them.

Eagle's Wings
Eagle's Wings is a small class for children with special needs. We offer Bible lessons and a craft project. Two caring teachers provide an atmosphere where God and His love are the focus.

Both the classroom and the buddy program are all by appointment. Please call Pastor Judy Basye at 239-1345 or Cathy Moretto at 825-5055 or email for more information. Sunday School class is at 9:45am in Room 204.

"The Meaning Behind the Name"
"One day while Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of religious law were sitting nearby. And the Lord's healing power was strongly with Jesus. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to push through the crowd to Jesus, but they couldn't reach him. So they went up to the roof, took off some tiles, and lowered the sick man through the roof down into the crowd, still on the mat, right in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man, "son, your sins are forgiven." Luke 5:17-20 NLT
