Ministry Opportunity
How about serving a family when life seems toughest? There are times in our
lives when we need others to walk along side, helping us to carry our loads
for a while. The death of a loved one is just such a time.When Calvary hosts a
funeral many times the details are overwhelming for the families so we
thought a ministry team that could lend a hand would be perfect.
Here is our goal:
We would like to assemble a team of people
who are compassionate, caring, and love to serve.
We’re hoping this team could help families with post funeral receptions by:
• Providing food for the reception;
• Coordinating those who are providing food;
• Helping to set up for the reception;
• Helping to clean-up after the reception;
• Helping with any other items that seem so overwhelming. |
Remember for a ministry such as this you don’t have to be a counselor, therapist,
funeral director or pastor - just someone who loves to serve people.
Some will ask, “How often will I have to serve?” Usually no more than once a month.
