Baby Dedication
Baby dedication is an event we celebrate twice a year at Calvary — on Father’s Day
and on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It is a time when parents come before the
church family with their children and pledge to teach them the truth found in God’s
Word. It is a recognition that their children are a gift from God and that they take
seriously the responsibility to raise them according to what God says. It is also a time
when the church family promises to pray for and to support them in their effort.

On Father’s Day, June 15, parents will have the opportunity to publicly dedicate
themselves and their children. It is a time when they receive the blessing of the
church as they declare their decision to raise their children in such a way that
they will come to trust in Jesus Christ as their own Savior. Please call the
